Recently, in the Huagong Bearing production workshop in Yandian Town, amid the low hum of machines, a batch of high-precision main bearings for ultra-thin foil rolling equipment has been successively rolled off the production line.

"Producing extremely thin foil with a thickness of only 0.02 millimeters - equivalent to one-fifth of the thickness of an A4 sheet of paper - requires unprecedented stability and precision from the rolling equipment," said Zhang Baozhong, the head of the company.

In the high-speed and high-pressure rolling process, the rotational precision and rigidity of the rolling equipment must be optimized to the utmost extent, as any minor vibration or deviation could potentially lead to foil breakage or uneven thickness. Faced with this challenging industry issue, Huagong Bearing organized a technical team to continuously tackle the problem and successfully developed the core main bearing for non-ferrous metal rolling equipment. The advent of this product provides a crucial fundamental material guarantee for China's lithium batteries to enhance energy density and reduce volume.

Zhang Baozhong introduced that Huagong Bearing's core main bearing products have undergone strict control over form and position tolerances as well as surface roughness. Currently, they have been used in batches by Hangzhou Five-Star Aluminum, a well-known domestic enterprise. Actual application data shows that the product has a service life no shorter than that of similar imported products, while also saving customers nearly 3 million yuan annually, demonstrating excellent cost-effectiveness and reliable domestic substitution capabilities.
